Dans les sports d’endurance, les gels énergétiques dominent depuis des années. Pourtant, leur efficacité décline à mesure que la durée augmente. Brûlures d’estomac, saturation gustative, troubles digestifs : leurs limites sont connues.

Face à cela, la purée énergétique est souvent présentée comme une alternative plus naturelle et mieux tolérée. Mais s’agit-il réellement d’un changement de paradigme, ou simplement d’un changement de texture dans le même modèle énergétique ?

Gels énergétiques : une solution utile, mais instable

Les gels apportent une source d’énergie rapide grâce à des glucides simples (glucose, fructose, maltodextrine). Ils fournissent des calories facilement assimilables et peuvent soutenir un effort bref ou très intense.
